# Improved Account List Sorting After Reconnection

CopyProfit has always displayed accounts in ascending order by account name. However, when NinjaTrader disconnected and reconnected, account information could be loaded in an irregular order, causing the order of the account list to change.

This update improves the sorting process so that the account list remains consistently ordered after reconnection.

## Account Order Now Remains Consistent After Reconnection

When managing multiple accounts, users often become familiar with where each account appears in the list. If the order changes after a connection is restored, users may need to locate their master and follower accounts again. It can also increase the chance of selecting the wrong account when several account names look similar.

CopyProfit now sorts accounts by name whenever the account list is reloaded after reconnection. Accounts therefore continue to appear in the same ascending order as before the disconnection.

## Change the Sort Direction from the Account Column

You can also change the account-name sorting direction by clicking the **Account** column header.

- Click the header to sort the list by account name.

- Click it again to switch between ascending and descending order.

This makes it easy to view lower- or higher-numbered accounts first without changing any other settings.

## More Consistent and Convenient Account Management

This improvement helps reduce the following issues:

- Account order changing after reconnection

- Having to locate master and follower accounts again

- Accidentally selecting the wrong account when account names are similar

- Difficulty viewing higher-numbered accounts first

## Sorting Only Changes the Display Order

Account-name sorting only changes the order in which accounts appear on the screen. It does not affect master or follower assignments, copy ratios, positions, orders, or any other copy-trading settings.

With this update, traders can continue working with a familiar and consistent account order even when the connection status changes.
